Sunshine Coast Contemporary Queenslander

The 235sqm 3 bedroom split level home is designed specifically for the Queensland beachside climate. To maximise airflow louvers and windows are carefully placed to cycle air throughout the home. The open feel and breezy design is borrowed from the Traditional Queenslander ethos of air flow.

The Newport 235 is designed for sloping sites with no excavation required. As the home is split level no where is the home any more than 1.2 off the ground as the design follows the natural slop of the land. This means no costly retaining walls or drainage works!


On entering the home through the foyer to the left is the lounge room opening on to the verandah through bifold windows, and to the right is the office/study which overlooks a verandah. The study opens to the garage. The next level down is a large living room with a well appointed kitchen opening on to a covered verandah. Also in this level is the main bathroom, laundry and 3rd double bedroom. On the third level are the main bedroom, walk in robe with ensuite, together the 2nd double bedroom. These rooms open out on to private verandahs. The living areas of the home have polished Australian Beech floors.
